9:00 am – Email Drafting
With a fresh cup of coffee, I kick off my day. My first task? Writing an email to the Talent Director about our updated careers page copy. Finding the right words can be a challenge this early in the day, thank goodness for ChatGPT.
Email Drafting Prompt Example: “Hey ChatGPT, can you help me draft an email to our Talent Director? We need feedback on our updated careers page, ensuring the tone is appropriate and the information works well across all countries we operate in.”
10:30 am – Performance Management Research
Next, it’s time to kick off some performance management research. I was dragging my feet on this project so I turn to ChatGPT for a helpful starting point.
Performance Management Research Prompt Example: “Hey ChatGPT, can you brief me on how tech companies have recently improved their performance management processes? Specifically, how have they integrated and promoted training in these processes?”
12:00 pm – Lunchtime and Slide Preparation
After recharging with a quick lunch, I have an HR update slides to prepare. Condensing information from a huge new HR guide into a few concise slides is no easy task, but ChatGPT makes it simple.
Slide Preparation Prompt Example: “Hey ChatGPT, could you help me summarize the key ideas from the following HR guide into bullet points for a single slide? Here’s the guide’s text: [paste guide text].”
1:30 pm – Event Planning
Post-lunch, my focus shifts to planning an upcoming event. Not my typical task, but ChatGPT takes away the overwhelm.
Event Planning Prompt Example: “Hey ChatGPT, I’m planning a two-day internal training event for 20 colleagues this October in Montreal. Can you help create a detailed planning checklist to keep me on track?”
3:00 pm – Crafting Job Postings
